With a total of 8 Performance marketing Awards our client, The Beat App, managed to gather more awards than any other Brand and was named The Brand of the Year 2020.
The Beat App is a mobile-only start-up, that revolutionized the Taxi-Hailing industry in Greece by offering globally unique product features. It has dominated the Greek market with a domestic user base of more than a million individuals but has also expanded in Latin America where it grew into being one of the biggest players.
Partnering with The Beat App has been an incredible ride since day 1 and winning this year’s Performance Brand of the Year with them is a crowning achievement. From the moment Beat burst onto the scene it disrupted its entire industry, becoming an inspiring and shining example of a Greek start up that set the bar very high internationally. Being their Performance Marketing partner has been and is still a privilege we do not take lightly.
The Peak Performance Marketing Awards supported by Google are the most prestigious Performance Marketing awards in Greece. A collaboration between Marketing Week, Google and Boussias Communications, the first awards were held in 2017. Now celebrating their 4th year, the number of nominees has impressively increased and the market has embraced this establishment with open arms with the thrilling participation of the most important Agencies and the top Brands. The exciting Awards Ceremony has become a yearly meeting point for Performance Marketing experts of Greece, and it was greatly missed this year due to the current conditions.
Thanasis Sofianos, Founder-CEO, Relevance Digital Agency
We are proud that, for the second year in a row, Relevance Digital Agency stood out as the Performance Agency of the Year at the Peak Performance Marketing Awards. At the same time, we are especially happy to have received 41 awards for 15 of our clients, as well as for the title of Performance Brand of the Year that was awarded to our client, BEAT. In a time with constant evolutions and multiple challenges, performance marketing is proving to be a pillar for business, contributing significantly to profitability. For our team, these important distinctions come as the culmination to our methodic way of working and of our commitment to provide effective and innovative solutions. We wholeheartedly thank our clients for the trust they have placed in us and for the opportunity they offer us to evolve alongside them, setting even higher goals. A great bravo to our team and warm congratulations to all the agencies and the companies who have participated in this year's awards.
Maria Mouzakiti, Head of Marketing & Communications, BEAT app
Speaking about App Marketing, Performance Marketing is for us at BEAT the most important user acquisition channel and it now steadily absorbs a good portion of our spend. As digital evolves, platforms such as Google provide the targeting and attribution abilities that allow us to know each user’s acquisition cost and to optimize our practices in a dynamic way. Over the last year and in collaboration with Relevance, we have managed to lower our unit costs like never before – and therefore gain more users by spending less money.
Ilias Sousis, President of the Judging Committee & Head of Domestic Market, Agencies and YouTube Greece, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Malta, Google
In a difficult era that is filled with challenges for the Advertising market, I’m very pleased that so many companies managed to participate this year in the Peak Awards. Most importantly, for the third year in a row, the quality of contestants was outstanding, and we can now say that Greek agencies are highly competitive in Performance Marketing, even compared to international agencies. Connecting CRM to advertising, proper data management, converting data into important business insights and using this data to run successful campaigns, as well as improving creative aspects with a Performance mindset, are some of the things that impressed us with the group of contestants this year. Congratulations to all and I hope that 2021 proves to be a more stable and better year.
