A child’s wish can offer joy, hope and emotional strength during a difficult journey.
Supporting Make-A-Wish Greece, Relevance helped bring eight-year-old Spiros’ wish to life: a basketball-themed bedroom built around the sport he loves.
A Room Inspired by His World
Spiros had a clear vision for his room. He wanted it to feel like a basketball court, complete with a proper hoop, basketballs and easily accessible shelves. He followed the preparations closely, sharing his ideas and giving specific directions to make the space his own.
Our contribution included a donation and a creative project for our in-house Graphic Design team. Inspired by Spiros’ favourite player, Michael Jordan, our designers created a personalised banner showing the two playing basketball together, with Spiros wearing the jersey of his favourite team, ARIS B.C.
The banner brought his basketball hero into his everyday world and placed Spiros at the centre of the action. Alongside the other elements of the room, it helped turn his ideas into a space where he could play and enjoy his favourite sport.
Putting Creativity Behind a Meaningful Cause
Make-A-Wish Greece fulfils the wishes of children living with critical illnesses, creating experiences that offer encouragement and something positive to look forward to.
For our team, supporting Spiros’ wish was an opportunity to use our creativity in a personal and meaningful way.
Working on something shaped by his interests reminded us how much a thoughtful contribution can mean to someone.
